I’m rob and this is my story
Years ago, a kid from The Bronx wondered how the world works. Little did he know that this curiosity would lead to creating some wonderful products…
My story begins in New York, where I studied chemistry. After my chemistry Ph.D. at Berkeley, I embarked on an international journey, moving to Germany and working as a research chemist at BASF before transitioning into scientific publishing. Gaining editorial experience at Georg Thieme Publishers and Wiley, I eventually joined Springer Nature.
Starting as a product manager, I transitioned into a leadership role as director of product management for Digital Life Science Solutions. Now London-based, I lead a team that develops products to empower and support the life scientists making advancements in biopharma, agriculture, and more.
My journey has been an amazing one, I’m excited to continue the adventure!

Life Beyond the screens
“Only boring people get bored…”
This above statement is an infamous quote from an uncle of mine. Fortunately, I almost never find myself bored since my interests are broad and varied.
I’m a longtime science and history nerd and enjoy visiting museums and traveling to historical sites, particularly those connected to ancient history. My artistic pursuits include photography and calligraphy. I’m also a huge football fan (soccer for my fellow Americans), avidly supporting Real Madrid. As a chemist by training, I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. As the old saying goes “chemistry is just like cooking, just don’t lick the spoon!”
