Selected Presentations
1. Transforming R&D: A Protocols Perspective (May 2024). In this talk, presented on-site for the biotech industry consortium MassBio, I review recent developments in the digital transformation of life science labs and explore some emerging opportunity spaces, some of which are indeed based on (generative) artificial intelligence.
2. Lab Protocols & Methods: A FAIR Perspective(March 2022). A virtual presentation delivered for the ConTech Pharma 2022, I explore how digitized protocols based on FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Resuable) principles can provide value through digitized lab ecosystems.
3. Advancing Lab Instruction: Protocols in Scientific Education & Training (Sept 2020). A pandemic webinar, I explore lab learning and development use cases for protocols and methods content. The recording is available here.
Miscellaneous Topics
1. Why Your Cuppa Sucks and How You Can Fix It: Tips from a Tea Snob (April 2024). In my spare time, I’m both a tea enthusiast and an active member of Toastmasters International. In this presentation, I cover both the major and finer points of tea brewing.
